LUNA Omakase Presents Chefs’ Collective: A Four-Hands Omakase with Michelin-Starred Chef Taro Noguchi x Chef Leonard Tanyag

LUNA Omakase presents Chefs’ Collective, a new series spotlighting boundary-pushing talent in contemporary gastronomy.

For its inaugural edition, the restaurant will welcome Michelin-starred Chef Taro Noguchi from Japan for a two-night-only four-hands omakase with Executive Chef Leonard Tanyag. Taking place on Tuesday 22 and Wednesday 23 July, the exclusive collaboration will unfold at LUNA’s hidden 12-seat chef’s counter, discreetly tucked within Los Mochis London City.

Marking his first-ever appearance in London, Chef Taro Noguchi brings his bold, instinctive and theatrical style of omakase to LUNA for two unforgettable nights. A self-taught chef and the talent behind Michelin-starred Noguchi in Osaka, he is known for transforming traditional dining into an emotionally engaging performance where smoke, texture, and playful tension heighten the experience as much as taste. Guided by the belief that “fun” is the ultimate value in dining, Noguchi crafts menus that evolve daily and spark a sense of wonder with every course. Now, in a rare cross-cultural collaboration, he joins Chef Leonard Tanyag to fuse their creative visions, explore new ingredients and deliver a once-in-a-lifetime omakase experience above the London skyline.

Together, the two chefs will create a bespoke, one-off tasting menu that brings their distinct voices together in a bold, immersive four-hands format. Expect a high-wire act of technique, expression, and innovation; rooted in tradition, but unbound by it.

To complement the experience, guests can elevate their evening with a curated drinks pairing of their choice: a refined sake pairing at £120, a classic wine pairing at £160, or an ultra-premium wine selection at £210.

Set high above the city on the 9th floor of 100 Liverpool Street, LUNA provides the ideal setting for this collaboration; an intimate, 12-seat omakase counter offering uninterrupted skyline views and a deeply considered dining experience. As City’s first and highest omakase, LUNA is led by Chef Tanyag, whose Sosaku-style Edomae Omakase reinterprets tradition through a modern, expressive lens. The 12-course menu shifts with the seasons, each course inspired by a different phase of the moon – a quiet nod to its influence on appetite, energy and emotion.

Set within London’s most elevated and exclusive omakase setting, this exclusive two-night event offers an extraordinary level of intimacy and access to two visionary chefs at the height of their craft. With seats extremely limited, this is one of London’s most anticipated dining moments of the summer.
