Designed by 4SPACE Design, with finishes from NGC and crafted by Tiny Box Maker, the 2025 Restaurant & Bar Design Awards trophy box transforms the intangible into something you can hold – a tactile prologue to an evening of imagination, AI and hospitality design excellence.

For 4SPACE Design, the vision began with a question: what does the moment between imagination and reality look like? The result is a design that captures that threshold – where an abstract idea, or a line of code, begins to take shape. The pixelated monochrome cover, interrupted by a white form breaking through, becomes a metaphor for the creative process itself: chaotic, searching, and ultimately – clear.

To bring this idea to life, NGC tested multiple finishes before landing on Lunar Nexus – a pearly white paper with a refined shimmer and soft texture that evokes the futuristic spirit of the theme. Visually understated yet sensorially rich, it allows the design to breathe while adding elegance to every touch.

The final challenge fell to Tiny Box Maker, which translated the vision into physical form. The complexity of foiling on textured material, the precision required to wrap each edge – these technical details became part of the artistry.
