With Pride round the corner, this year is set to be even more fabulous than ever after two years of restrictions. For the entire month of June, St James Bar in Sofitel London St James will be donating £1 of every Ray cocktail purchased at the bar to the estimable charity London Friend. 

The effervescent Ray serve (priced at £17), which flaunts the colours of Pride, is part of the bar’s explorative Imagination menu, and comprises Boatyard Double Gin, clementine & passion fruit, white port and kaffir and Champagne. 

London Friend is the UK’s oldest LGBTQ+ charity and is celebrating its 50th this year. Providing mental health and wellbeing support to the city’s communities, the charity is volunteer-led (with over 100) and their skilled, reliable, and judgement-free teams have been delivering life-changing work to LGBTQ+ Londoners since 1972. 

London Friend offers help and advice to all LGBTQ+ people, providing one-to-one counselling, a range of social and support groups including coming out support, trans and non-binary support, creative groups, conversational English classes and more; Antidote, a specialist LGBTQ+ drug and alcohol service. 

Centrally located in the heart of the city, St James Bar is the perfect bar to visit, whether it’s amidst Pride celebrations, after work with colleagues, for an intimate date or pre/post dinner drinks with friends. Celebrate in style whilst giving back this June.
