Creams broadens customer proposition with launch of savoury menu
Creams, the UK’s leading dessert restaurant brand with over 80 outlets nationwide, has unveiled its first ever savoury menu, marking a first in the UK dessert market.
The addition of savoury options to Creams’s existing sweet menu will drive customer acquisition and strengthen engagement. If successful, the savoury menu will be rolled out across all Creams sites.
The menu has been created by the business’s New Product Development Chef Chris Bernard. With more than 20 years’ experience as a leading pastry chef, Chris’s expertise gained in kitchens around the world enables him to creatively pair flavours across a variety of menus, including this latest creation.
The menu comprises a variety of waffle, crêpe, wrap and nacho options with a wide range of high-quality customisable toppings including sweet chilli chicken; BBQ chicken; plain chicken; BBQ beef; sweet chilli Quorn; BBQ sauce Quorn, and tuna. Each waffle, crêpe and wrap dish is also accompanied by a fresh rocket and feta salad.
Atif Amin, MD/ CFO, Creams, said: “We are continually looking at new and exciting ways to enhance our customer offer, and this new savoury menu is just one way we’re broadening our product proposition to reflect customers’ preferences and lifestyles. The addition of savoury options means that whether our customers are looking for a sweet or savoury treat, Creams is the ultimate destination.”
The all-day savoury menu is
currently available all day at Creams cafés in Beckton, Bluewater, Bristol,
Bromley, Cambridge, Canterbury, Chatham, Dalston, Hemel Hempstead, London
