A New Height for Bread Street Kitchen & Bar. Now Open at 22 Bishopsgate

A Landmark Moment as Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global Celebrates Its 100th Restaurant Opening Worldwide

Bread Street Kitchen & Bar at 22 Bishopsgate is now officially open, welcoming guests to a new all-day dining destination on the 59th floor of the City of London’s tallest building. Rising 269 metres above the capital, the launch marks a landmark moment for Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global as it celebrates its 100th restaurant worldwide.

Following the success of Lucky Cat at 22 Bishopsgate, which opened in February 2025, Bread Street Kitchen & Bar strengthens the group’s presence within one of London’s most iconic destinations. The development has also been featured in the Netflix docuseries Being Gordon Ramsay, offering audiences a behind-the-scenes look at one of London’s most anticipated restaurant openings.

Now open to the public, Bread Street Kitchen & Bar at 22 Bishopsgate represents the most elevated expression of the brand to date, building on its first opening in St Paul’s in 2001. The expansive venue offers 250 seats across the dining room and bar, including 59 bar seats across stools, poser tables and fixed seating, creating a lively setting that transitions effortlessly from daytime dining into late-night energy.

Dining at Bread Street Kitchen & Bar captures the full rhythm of the day, flowing from breakfast and lunch through to afternoon tea and dinner, alongside bar snacks that extend the experience into the evening. Set against sweeping skyline views, the menu features elevations of signature Bread Street Kitchen and Ramsay’s Kitchen favourites alongside over 30 entirely new dishes. The much-loved GFC returns with its signature sauce now made entirely in house, while the iconic Idiot Sandwich brings together beef brisket, cheddar cheese, mushroom and tomato chutney with fries. The celebrated Beef Wellington is available to share high above the capital, offering guests the opportunity to enjoy the classic dish in a striking new setting.

Afternoon Tea, priced from £55 per person and available daily, offers a modern take on the classic experience, featuring roasted chicken sandwiches and signature sweet treats inspired by Gordon Ramsay’s favourite childhood desserts, including the Gordon Wagon Wheel presented in a playful mould resembling Gordon’s head.

Sharing remains central to the restaurant’s offering, with menus designed for both celebrations and relaxed group dining. Guests can enjoy dishes such as wagyu meatballs, barley miso salmon, lobster and prawn toast, chicken and caviar nuggets, stonebass crudo and Duroc pork chops. Traditional Sunday dining is also reimagined through the Ramsay Roast, served with classic accompaniments including roast potatoes, maple glazed carrots and braised hispi cabbage.

Desserts combine nostalgic favourites with contemporary additions, from classic Sticky Toffee Pudding to the BSK Sundae, featuring fig leaf ice cream, miso caramel and cherry sauce.

Complementing the food offering is a dynamic drinks programme featuring signature cocktails such as the Wuthering Heights, blending Havana Spiced Rum with Passoã, passionfruit and pineapple, and the Hot Honey and Tangerine Margarita, combining Código Rosa Tequila, Cointreau, lime, tangerine and hot honey.

The bar adds a lively dimension to the venue, screening live sport across five large screens while maintaining a vibrant social atmosphere. As evening unfolds, DJ sets from Thursday to Saturday bring an energetic soundtrack to the late-night experience.

Families are also welcomed with the much-loved Kids’ Table experience, already popular across Gordon Ramsay Restaurants in London, available every Saturday and Sunday from 12pm to 5pm, offering supervised table-top activities for children aged three years and over.

Set high above the city with uninterrupted views across London, Bread Street Kitchen & Bar at 22 Bishopsgate marks a defining new chapter for the globally recognised brand, celebrating both its global growth and its continued evolution in the capital.
