PREZZO ITALIAN CEO LAUNCHES BRAVA HOSPITALITY GROUP

The group will operate Prezzo Italian alongside a number of other restaurant brands soon to be announced
The team behind Prezzo Italian has unveiled its new hospitality company, Brava Hospitality Group, signalling the next chapter in its evolution as a multi-brand business.
Having previously operated under the Prezzo name, the company has rebranded as Brava Hospitality Group to reflect its transition from a single-brand operator to a broader platform designed to manage and grow multiple brands across the UK.
The group has been created to be “the home of great restaurant brands” – reflecting its ambition to deliver exceptional guest experiences built on three core beliefs: great food, great environments and excellent service.
James Brown, CEO of Brava Hospitality Group, said: “As we look to the future, we knew it was time for a new group identity – one that reflects our ambition and gives us the foundation to grow. Brava is about ‘hospitality with heart’ – and building a portfolio of distinctive brands that people love. That started with Prezzo Italian.”
Prezzo Italian, the group’s flagship brand, underwent its own transformation in April 2025, evolving from Prezzo as part of a wider brand refresh. Central to this new era is Prezzo Italian’s commitment to deliver Italian favourites at an accessible price point, with a focus on ‘better food, better service, better experience, better marketing and better restaurant design’ as part of its new brand DNA – Better Italian for Everyone.
The Prezzo Italian transformation was led James Brown, the former CEO of BrewDog Global Hospitality Business, who joined the brand in November last year to build on the brand’s foundation and secure lasting success. Since this, the brand has seen a strong business performance, with like-for-like sales growing +11% in Q3 and the six refurbished restaurants delivering an average of +50% growth compared to the prior year.
Having had a presence on the high street for 25 years, Prezzo Italian will remain a key focus for the Group, which ensure customers receive an authentic Italian experience in a modern, elevated environment. Alongside leading asset management firm Cain International, James and the wider team at Brava Hospitality Group will continue to drive forward plans to refurbish 12 Prezzo Italian locations by the end of the year. A further 40 are also planned for 2025 – a clear signal of ongoing investment in revitalising one of the UK’s most recognisable casual dining brands.
James added: “Now we have announced this new step, we are looking forward to being able to share further details in the coming months and announce other restaurant brands joining the Brava Hospitality Group portfolio alongside Prezzo Italian. With every brand that joins us, two things remain the same – our commitment to sustainable high-quality growth, and to preserving the heart of hospitality across every concept we bring to life.”
A number of restaurants brands will also be joining the Brava Hospitality Group portfolio, which is set to be made up of a mix of brand-new concepts, as well as existing brands.
