New seafood restaurant concept Shrimp & Co has made its debut in the Midlands, opening its first two sites in Leicester and Birmingham in March 2025.

Specialising in seasoned shrimp, seafood boils, and sharing platters, Shrimp & Co offers a menu centred around bold flavours and inclusive dining.

All dishes are 100% halal, aiming to cater to the diverse food scenes in both cities. The restaurant’s approach focuses on casual, coastal-style dining, with generous platters designed for group sharing.

Following strong early demand, Shrimp & Co is preparing to open a third site at Birmingham’s Star City leisure complex in early May, with a Manchester location also on the horizon.

The brand’s growth strategy is driven by rising consumer interest in seafood-focused casual dining and increasing franchising enquiries.
