This Valentine’s Day, Oblix at the Shard will be offering three limited edition menus set against views spanning across the city from the 32rd floor of The Shard. The ultimate romantic setting, guests can celebrate Valentine’s Day in either Oblix West or Oblix East with delicious set menus as well as a special cocktail and dessert to mark the occasion. 

 

Sophisticated fine-dining restaurant, Oblix West have created  Valentine’s Day signature menu as well as a Premium menu which will see the return of their popular Seafood platter. The Valentine’s Day signature menu will include a selection of starters such as Prawn cocktail with avocado and spicy cocktail sauce and Beef tartare with black truffle followed by signature Oblix dishes to include the Whole lobster with lemon verbena and garlic butter and the Pepper steak with creamy peppercorn sauce. Sides will include Char-grilled sweet potatoes with brown butter and Tenderstem broccoli with almonds and chilli. To finish, guests will be treated to a one-off Valentine’s Day dessert; an indulgent Strawberry and yuzu mousse topped with crunchy salted caramel.

 

Over in Oblix East, a cosmopolitan bar with unparalleled views of East London, the Valentine’s Day Easy menu will be available, priced at £95 per person, comprising some of the favourite Oblix Easy dishes. Guests will enjoy a glass of champagne on arrival, followed by a choice of starters such as Buratta with olives and datterini tomatoes and Crispy squid with chilli and lime. Mains will include Spicy lobster and crab spaghetti with chilli, garlic and lemon and Crispy buttermilk chicken with mashed potatoes and garlic crisps. The Valentine’s Day Easy menu will also include the signature Valentine’s dessert of the Strawberry and yuzu mousse and a bottle of wine between two. Additionally, guests can also experience one of Oblix East’s show stopping cocktails to bring some theatrics to the evening, including the Born a Star cocktail served in a model of the Shard with Ciroc vodka, passionfruit, vanilla and champagne as well as a special edition Valentine’s Day cocktail, the French Kiss, created especially by Oblix’s master mixologist team for the occasion.

 

Both menus will be available exclusively on the 14th February with the Valentine’s Day signature menu also available in Oblix West from the 10th to 13th February, alongside the A La Carte menu, for those choosing to celebrate Valentine’s Day on the weekend. 

 

In Oblix West, the Valentine’s Day signature menu will be priced at £130 per person and the premium menu will be priced at £170 per person and will be available from the 10th – 14th February. 

In Oblix East, the Valentine’s Day Easy menu will be priced at £95 per person and will be available exclusively on the 14th February.
