With a mission to make people passionate about craft beer, revolutionise the beer industry and redefine British beer-drinking culture, BrewDog is one the UK’s most popular craft beer brands, not to mention the world’s first carbon negative brewery. With bars, breweries and even a hotel all around the world, they needed authentic lighting to pair with their authentic values. 

When considering decorative lighting, BrewDog wanted products that reflect their personality and feel truly unique to them. At Industville, we offer an array of versatile lighting options, including exclusive finishes as well as an extensive range of accessories. This allowed Brewdog to have maximum flexibility when developing their own individual light fittings, which were tailored to their exact specifications to suit their bar’s interior design. 

Lighting is key in creating an atmosphere and the industrial look favoured by Brewdog involved stripped back architectural details, including the use of exposed brick, exposed pipes, raw metal and wood, as well as salvaged materials. Industrial design takes inspiration from the lofty look of warehouses and factories, creating the perfect juxtaposition of rustic and modern.  In terms of interior design, it is all about achieving a raw edgy style that looks unfinished, yet cohesive and unique, perfect for a trendy BrewDog bar. 

Brewdog wanted to mix and match an array of different lighting options to create a layered yet coordinated scheme throughout their establishments. They opted for a mix of Pewter lights consisting of our Brooklyn Step 16 inch Pendants, Brooklyn Giant Dome 23.5 Inch Pendants, Brooklyn Cone 7 Inch Pendants, Orlando Wire 4 Inch Cage Pendants and Retro Enamel 14 Inch Pendants.

BrewDog’s lighting needed to reflect their brand story and hence they chose lighting made from the highest quality materials. At Industville all of our lights are handcrafted from quality materials such as pure brass or copper. Investing in quality also means the lights will last longer and with energy consumption levels likely to be high in bars, Brewdog were very keen to be as sustainable as possible.  Industville bulbs utilise eco-friendly, cost-effective LED technology making them both practical and stylish.
