Bluebird Chelsea partners with Tony’s Chocolonely to create a quirky yet decadent afternoon tea for Chocolate Week
The chocolate bars with a purpose come to Chelsea for an ultimate week of 100% cocoa indulgence
Chocolate Week will take Chelsea by storm this year as Bluebird Chelsea teams up with Tony’s Chocolonely, the brand that’s famously crazy about chocolate, serious about people, to create London’s first all-chocolate afternoon tea.
The choc-tastic cocoa extravaganza will be available from Monday 14th October – Sunday 20th October, featuring a chocolate-infused three-tiered afternoon tea laden with Tony’s creations that will set the bar high for anyone with a sweet tooth.
Already well loved for their afternoon tea, iconic restaurant Bluebird’s afternoon feast will truly be the golden ticket this Chocolate Week. Bluebird x Tony’s will take centre-stage on the stand accompanied by an assortment of pastries created in honour of London’s sweetest week.
Talented Executive Pastry Chef, Curtis Poole, has created some truly inventive confectionery themed delights, including: a scrumptious Golden Half Sphere using Tony’s Dark Chocolate (70%), making a Chocolate Yuzu with an added element of popping candy; a smooth and creamy Choux Bun filled with Tony’s Milk Hazelnut (32%); a decadent Tart created with Tony’s Milk Caramel Sea Salt chocolate (32%) turned into a ganache, completed with a rich chocolate bar with Tony’s Milk Honey Almond Nougat (32%) offering layers of flavours.
The treats are served up alongside their signature mouth-watering scones enhanced with the newly launched White Raspberry Popping Candy (26%) with Clotted Cream and Strawberry Preserve, expertly balanced by an array of quintessentially British sandwiches.
As the nights draw in, afternoon tea at Bluebird is the perfect activity to while away an early autumn day with friends.
Aligned to Tony’s Chocolonely’s core mission to make all chocolate 100% slave free and timed to coincide with UK Anti-Slavery Day (Friday 18th October), Bluebird will be donating £1 for each afternoon tea to The Chocolonely Foundation.
