Located in two 18th century stable houses, Mews of Mayfair is an elegant eating and drinking destination that populates the entire Mews. Following a quick refresh and overall ‘polish’, Mews of Mayfair has a newly found spring in its step and is excited to announce some new additions across its menus, from fresh and delicious seasonal dishes to opulent cocktails, as well as additional artwork added throughout the venue giving each destination its own unique character.
Building on the success of Mews of Mayfair to date, the refresh is set to make it more in line with modern day expectations, ensuring it adapts to current consumer demands. Mews Courtyard Bar
At the heart of Mews sits the courtyard bar, located on the ground floor. Offering outside seating along the stunning cobbled courtyard, this is a destination that will take you away for the of stresses of modern day life. MEWS COURTYARD BAR offers an all-day dining & drinking menu as well as being the perfect spot for those just wanting a nibble. Offering a rare opportunity to enjoy al fresco seating away from the busy streets of Mayfair, this picturesque spot is an ever-popular hideaway and one you find yourself wanting to wile the day away.
For the foodies and those looking to try a menu that is fresh, seasonal and exciting menu, the MEWS BRASSERIE is located above the MEW COURTYARD BAR. Curated by executive chef, Sam Ryder, previously from Cubitt House, the menu will change with the seasons, offering local produce, beautifully presented with minimal fuss and maximum taste.
Previous classics like the Beer Battered Fish and Chips and the Mews Truffle Burger are still staples on the menu, but now sitting alongside more seasonal dishes such as English pea panna cotta, with smoked ham, crackling and a crispy quail’s egg. Or for the meat lovers out there, share a cracking 850g Cote du Boeuf on the bone from Rare Breed Farms. There will also be a daily market fish offering so fresh, you can taste the sea.
The set menu offering is unbeatable at £18.50 for 2 courses, available weekdays in the brasserie, from noon – 7pm.
Weekend brunches, already a firm favourite, will continue, but with exciting new dishes such as the Black Pudding Hash with fried eggs and truffle mayo. On Sundays, of course, the classic Sunday roast will still be spectacular, using only the finest cuts of Rare breed Hereford beef.
Mews Cocktail Bar
Onto the other side of the Mews, opposite Mews Courtyard Bar, is the MEWS COCKTAIL BAR, where dip-dyed oak panelling runs throughout the interior creating a glamourous setting for any thirsty visitor. A carefully curated cocktail list offers classics including a whole collection dedicated to the ever popular Negroni and more inventive creations such as Smoking Geisha: Hakushu Japanese whiskey, Rose vermouth, Kumquat, Peppermint & soda…served in a smoking cloche. If cocktails aren’t for you then Mews has teamed up with the likes of Moet Hennessey to offer house pours of Veuve Cliquot, Belvedere & Hennessey. These newly secured partnerships allow Mews of Mayfair to bring you top shelf brands and quality at very reasonable prices, making it all that more tempting to pop in for a drink or two after work.
Mews Pizza Co.
If all the cocktails have left you light headed, located above Mews Cocktail Bar, is MEWS PIZZA CO. This lofty pizzeria boasts floor to ceiling windows directly overlooking the bustling courtyard below. MPC specialises in hand rolled sourdough pizzas with seasonal favourites such as the Mews Truffle Pizza; mozzarella, porcini mushroom, black truffle, soft cheese and truffle oil and the Fico; roasted beetroot, balsamic glazed fig, goats curd, rocket and toasted pine nuts and of course the timeless classics such as Diavola and Quattro Formaggi. With a brand new partnership with Campari Brand it would be rude not to kick start your meal with a Campari or Aperol aperitivo to transport you to an Italian piazza as you dine surround by vintage Campari murals.
Mews Wine Room
If you prefer wine to cocktails, next door to Mews Cocktail Bar, sits MEWS WINE ROOM, an elegant private dining room which offers an exclusive experience for up to 15 guests where they can dine amongst the MEWS wine collection. Doubling up as a wine boutique, this intimate room also provides exclusive wine tasting experiences curated by Mews’ expert sommelier. And you can even buy a bottle of something special to take home with you.
Private Dining Rooms
The Art Gallery, Map Room, Hummingbird room and previously mentioned Mews Wine Room complete the private dining offering for Mews of Mayfair. Able to accommodate up to 28 guests, the rooms are ideal for a sit down or standing reception and offer an event to remember thanks to the bespoke service they offer. All our event spaces can provide full media, so can also be the perfect venue for a business meeting and follow up event.
With the Art Gallery is situated just off the courtyard. This light and open space with striking illustrations and astro turf throughout, is ideal for those who want to host afternoon tea or lazy afternoon lunch. The Hummingbird, seating up to 18 people, is a private room situated in the Mews Cocktail Bar, with big open windows onto the courtyard. Sit down dinners that can lead to cocktail fuelled afters are perfect for this venue. Head up to the top of the Mews to the Map Room for a more formal dining setting. This room will leave guest standing in awe upon entering the room, as the floor to ceiling maps take centre stage and get the conversation flowing. Bespoke menu’s and flawless service is delivered by our experienced events team, and a window to the kitchen to see the chefs preparing your meals.
