Odysea Launches Ajvar and Taramosalata Dips into Waitrose
Authentic Mediterranean flavours hit Waitrose shelves as Odysea continues to redefine the fresh dips category
Odysea has launched its Ajvar and Taramosalata dips into Waitrose, following the success of their initial rollout in Sainsbury’s earlier this year. The move also marks Odysea’s debut into Waitrose chilled dips aisle, strengthening their position as a leading supplier of premium Greek and Mediterranean foods.
The launch forms part of Odysea’s mission to showcase the depth and diversity of their offering, bringing traditional recipes, carefully sourced ingredients and restaurant-quality flavour to the UK retail market.
Odysea Ajvar
Popular across northern Greece and the Balkans, Ajvar is a smoky, savoury dip made from flame-roasted peppers and aubergines. Odysea’s recipe combines roasted vegetables with a touch of oil, vinegar, cayenne and smoked paprika for a rich, spicy depth.

Odysea Taramosalata
Odysea’s Taramosalata is made using a cherished family recipe handed down from founder Panos Manuelides’ mother, Vali. Crafted from unbroken sugar-salted Icelandic cod’s roe, it delivers an exceptionally smooth and savoury flavour that has earned 2 stars at the 2024 Great Taste Awards.
