French smash burger sensation Junk, which debuted its first UK location in Soho last October, is set to open its second site this August, this time in the heart of Marylebone. 

The announcement of the new site in Marylebone, less than a year after their inaugural UK opening, confirms founders and entrepreneurs; Majed Mansour and Wissem Ben Ammar’s business prowess and the group’s rapid rise and global vision.  Originally founded by the pair in 2021, the Junk Group is now a household name in France’s street food culture with locations across Paris, Lyon, Strasbourg, Lille, Bordeaux, and Toulouse. With further global expansion on the horizon, Junk continues to ride the wave of national success, solidifying their presence in London’s smashburger scene.

A larger site than the original with 40 covers in total, the new Junk will launch on St Christopher’s Place,  serving up the same minimalist menu centred around the classic smash burger. Options will range from two to five patties of the Classic Cheeseburger served with American cheese and housemade Junk sauce, the Truffle Double Cheeseburger with house fried onions and homemade truffle sauce, and the Crispy Veggie Burger. Guests can elevate an order with jalapeños for spice, and caramelised onions for a touch of umami as well as pickles for free. There will also be Panko Chicken Bites, nuggets coated in extra-crispy breadcrumbs, for fried chicken lovers.

A selection of freshly baked cookies from iconic Parisian brand Puffy – who opened their first London location this summer – will be available on site. Guests can choose from three indulgent flavours: Milk Chocolate, Double Chocolate & Peanut Butter, and Double Chocolate & Hazelnut

With momentum fuelled by strong demand, word-of-mouth buzz, and a reputation for quality and innovation, the Junk brand is firmly positioned for continued growth and lasting impact.

Junk Marylebone will open in August 2024. . Lunch and dinner will be served all day Monday to Sunday from 12:00pm – 11pm. Guests can either dine-in, choose to takeaway or order via a delivery service.
