LONDON’S NEW KERB SOCIAL CLUB TO CELEBRATE INCLUSIVITY WITH PLAYFUL DESIGN

Macaulay Sinclair’s design concept for KERB Social Club breaks the traditional sports bar mould, creating a dynamic space for a diverse range of guests.
INTERIOR architecture and design studio Macaulay Sinclair has been appointed by the pioneering hospitality minds at KERB to design and deliver its latest concept; KERB Social Club, a dynamic and inclusive entertainment space in Spitalfields, London.
The new space, set to open this summer, will offer a seamless blend of activities – from sports viewing to private party rooms – accompanied by excellent street food and drink synonymous with the leading food hall operator and incubator.
Drawing inspiration from classic sports iconography, the design will incorporate playful motifs and a punchy colour palette, reflecting the energy of the games it showcases. The space will cleverly juxtapose modern audiovisual technology, with carefully curated retro-style furniture and memorabilia, creating a sense of nostalgic charm within a contemporary setting.

Mike Sinclair, director at Macaulay Sinclair, said: “KERB Social Club is all about breaking that traditional sports bar mould, and catering to a more diverse clientele. Inclusivity has therefore been a priority for our design, from families seeking a fun outing, friends making memories or corporate teams in search of a versatile after-work-drinks space. It was also important to create an environment that fosters connection and belonging for more under-represented communities – somewhere that is warm and welcoming to all.”
The first floor will boast a collection of unique experiences; several bookable rooms, each with a capacity of 150 guests combined, to offer ultimate flexibility. These adaptable spaces can be transformed to host private viewing or streaming events, corporate meetings or presentations, dedicated gaming areas, and even karaoke party rooms.
Meanwhile, the ground floor will feature a spacious bar and a mix of fixed and loose seating, comfortably accommodating another 100 patrons.
KERB Social Club aims to go beyond providing an engaging atmosphere for sports fans. The space will prioritise the perfect balance between comfort and excitement, offering a mix of gaming and entertainment options for both casual and competitive enjoyment.

“Your club. Your crowd. Your choice” is the tagline that embodies the essence of KERB Social Club – the ultimate spot for connecting, competing, and unwinding, rooted in KERB’s urban spirit.
Simon Mitchell, CEO of KERB, said: “KERB Social Club is what happens when you take the spirit of a proper British local, mix it with the casual chaos and fun of an American sports bar, and give it an inclusive, modern KERB twist. This isn’t about gimmicks – it’s a reminder that community hangouts really matter. And for us, opening our first Social Club in a legendary market like Spitalfields makes it even more special. It reflects our heritage, but pushes things forward.”
Kerb Social Club will open in summer 2025 and be located at Old Spitalfields Market
65 Brushfield Street, London, E1 6AA.
