PocketSquare – east London’s rooftop bar with skyline terrace – is launching the Doppelgärden Summer Spritz Terrace in partnership with London’s Doghouse Distillery.

Recently opened on 15^th May, this exclusive urban oasis will sit high above the city featuring lush greenery and serving expertly crafted cocktails. Named after Doghouse Distillery’s Doppelgänger Aperitivo, the Doppelgärden will be the perfect destination for a summer spritz paired with unbeatable London views.

Located in Whitechapel, PocketSquare has become a favourite for its inventive cocktails and exceptional views, stretching from Canary Wharf and Docklands to City icons like The Gherkin from the ninth-floor terrace.

Doghouse Distillery was established in 2016 in Battersea, London. Proudly London’s only multi-category grain-to-bottle distillery. One of the few in the UK to craft its base spirits from scratch, Doghouse is known for its bold, modern approach.

Head mixologist Lucrezia Frosutto and her expert team have collaborated with Doghouse Distillery to create a summer pop-up menu, designed to be enjoyed in the verdant surrounds of the terrace.

The star of the menu will be the London Spritz– a perfect summer sip featuring Doghouse Distillery’s signature Italian-style English aperitivo, Doppelgänger.

The aperitivo’s bittersweet flavour is led by citrus and hibiscus with earthy, herbaceous undertones which are perfectly balanced by the addition of grapefruit and soda water.

Other drinks on the fruit-forward menu will include:

Tropical Sour – a tropical twist on a New York Sour with Debt Collector Moonshine, pineapple, agave and a Port float

Cherry Negroni – a sour spin on a classic made with cherry infused Renegade Gin, Doppelgänger Aperitivo and Cocchi di Torino

Banana Collins – a fruity, carbonated creation featuring Debt Collector Cask Aged Moonshine, lime juice, banana oleo saccharum and coconut water

Baller Club – a summery blend of award-winning Baller Vodka, lemon juice, sugar syrup and fresh raspberries

Guests at the terrace can also enjoy a menu of light bites and sharing dishes with their cocktails. Dishes on the menu include Fritto Misto, Arancinette and Polpette.
