Restaurant brand’s latest campaign reaches out to society’s most in need

A popular restaurant brand known for delivering French-inspired cuisine has given back to the community through its latest Pay It Forward campaign.

Bistrot Pierre has 18 outlets across the UK – including two new Pierre’s featuring all-day dining and socialising spaces – and each one took part in the initiative, donating free meals to deserving local residents nominated by chosen charities.

Bistrot Pierre’s CEO Nick White said: “Following our 30th birthday celebrations, community continues to be at the heart of what we do, and we are delighted to have opened our doors to welcome those most in need.

“Our loyal customers made a difference to the lives of deserving residents by booking a table for eight or more people on Sundays during December and we’re hugely grateful for the fantastic work which continues to be done by all our chosen charities each year.”

The initiative was born three years ago to reach out to those most impacted by the cost-of-living crisis and during that time more than 1,000 free meals have been enjoyed.

Charities involved in the latest campaign include Age UK, Linking Lives Eastbourne, Escape Arts, Young At Heart and Acacia Family Support.

Selected guests have been chosen by each charity to enjoy a free three-course meal at each high street outlet, which are redeemable throughout the start of 2025.

Since Bistrot Pierre’s first restaurant in Nottingham was launched in 1994, the company’s portfolio has expanded to 18 outlets across towns and cities in the UK, establishing itself as a cherished dining destination from Plymouth to Preston.

Bistrot’s raison d’etre is serving great value, French-inspired dishes made with fresh ingredients. Each restaurant is warm and welcoming, embracing the distinctive features of the building in which it sits – making no Bistrot the same.

To complement its Bistrot Pierre restaurants, Pierre’s in Newport and Sutton Coldfield provides an all-day dining and socialising place, ideal for coffee and cake catch ups, nibbles with a glass of wine at lunch all the way through to cocktail o’clock and a set dining menu.
