15th September: The 411, Angel’s New Vibrant Neighbourhood Bar, Opens
On 15th September, The 411 (pronounced ‘The four-one-one’), a neighbourhood bar located in the heart of Angel, will open its doors. Inspired by the creative energy of New York’s Soho district, The 411 will deliver a vibrant atmosphere through an exciting roster of events alongside resident vinyl DJs spinning several genres including soul, funk, R&B, and jazz.
The 411 will also be launching ‘Wall Street Wednesdays’, where the venue transforms into a bustling stock market for the evening. The drinks menu becomes ‘stock’ – as drinks become less popular, their price falls and vice versa! Guests are invited to embrace their inner Wolf of Wall Street egos…!
The 411’s menu draws inspiration from the best of NYC’s casual restaurant scene. Guests can indulge in the extensive sandwich menu during lunchtimes, with options of much-loved American classics such as the Po’boy, Reuben, Philly Cheesesteak and Meatball Sub. All day options include delicious pizzas, burgers and salad – all inspired by the Big Apple. Across the weekend, brunch classics such as Eggs Benedict, French Toast and Waffles are available, alongside bottomless pizza and picantés on Saturdays for just £40pp.
The 411 also has an extensive house cocktail list with tipples inclusive of American bourbons and whiskies alongside classic cocktails, craft beers (even American ones!), and thoughtfully chosen wines.
The venue’s design is inspired by timeless Manhattan lofts, featuring exposed brickwork, bare concrete finishes, oversized artworks, and statement furniture. Floor-to-ceiling windows will flood the space with natural light, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. With a capacity for 400 guests, it’s the perfect spot for larger parties too.
