Ahead of their debut London opening on 2nd August, premium South-American restaurant group Fazenda are delighted to announce three senior appointments to their team across General Manager, Head Chef and Bar Manager. Fazenda will debut in London at 100 Bishopsgate, taking the Rodizio concept that the brand is best known for to the next level. Joining the team ahead of the much-anticipated debut are Sergio Labarile Polizzi as General Manager, Michela Castiglioni as Bar Manager and Suso Lopez as Head Chef.

Joining as General Manager is Sergio Labarile Polizzi who has been in the restaurant industry for over 20 years, working at a wide range of luxury venues around the city. He joins Fazenda from his role as Assistant General Manager for The Groucho Club having previously learnt his craft at the likes of Gaucho and Harrods.

As Bar Manager, Michela Castiglioni will oversee the running of Fazenda’s sleek standalone bar area after spending the last 5 years at Disrepute. During Michaela’s time at Disrepute, which saw her join as Supervisor and leave as General Manager, the bar received mentions in a multitude of renowned cocktail bar rankings, most notably ranking 12th in the Top 50 Cocktail Bars 2022 list.

Suso Lopez joins Fazenda as Head Chef, under the expert culinary guidance of Fazenda’s long-time Executive Chef Francisco Martinez. Having studied Culinary Arts for five years in Spain and two years in Italy, Suso went on to hone his knowledge and skill in restaurants across Europe, South America and Asia, before his most notable recent appointment spent as Head Chef of BiBo by Dani Garcia.

Fazenda London debut spans two floors in the heart of the City, encompassing a 170 cover restaurant alongside three luxurious private dining rooms, an elegant mezzanine lounge and an expansive standalone bar and lounge with al-fresco tables for summer drinking.
