Festive food & wine tales- the ultimate Italian Christmas battle between Francesco Mazzei and Luca Dusi
Celebrated chef Francesco Mazzei is once again teaming up with his long-time friend Luca Dusi, of Passione Vino, for the second in their series of culinary events to celebrate their home nation of Italy.
Returning for a festive edition, Festive Food & Wine Tales will kick off on Wednesday 8th December at 7pm at Francesco’s trattoria Radici in Islington. Tickets are £75 per person and include a menu of canapés followed by three courses and accompanying wines. The interactive event will have guests vote after each course and wine pairing. The winning dish and wine, which will be announced at the end of the dinner, will then be featured on Radici’s specials board for the month.
Each event sees the duo showcase a particular region in Italy and both show off their expert skills – Francesco cooking up a storm versus Luca heading up the wine. Guests decide on the night which Italian maestro’s region wins – North or South.
