Emilia’s Crafted Pasta Aldgate welcomes back offices by extending EOTHO scheme

Emilia’s Crafted Pasta is extending the Eat Out To Help Out scheme at their Aldgate site in order to welcome back City professionals. With 50% off pasta only (up to £10 per person discount) on Monday & Tuesday, Emilia’s are looking forward to serving all their signature pasta dishes to professionals who are back working in the City.

“EOTHO was a brilliant scheme to get the ball rolling again for the hospitality industry. August was the first steppingstone to securing the future of the restaurant industry. The next stepping stone is that offices are scheduled to start coming back around September and we feel it’s now our turn now to give back to our guests (both thanking our previous guests loyalty and additionally for new diners who are experiencing Emilia’s for the first time)”, says Emilia’s founder Andrew Macleod.

Al fresco dining is also back at St. Katharine Docks on their front terrace overlooking the picturesque marina with a rustic, intimate ambience evoking the small trattorias on the side streets of Modena. With a front terrace for al fresco dining overlooking the docks, this picturesque marina location offers a city getaway feel that might have you thinking you’ve travelled from Modena to the Italian Riviera.

Their full menu will be available with signature dishes such as their hearty pappardelle Béchamel Bolognese and creamy Genovese pesto sauce with casarecce pasta. Additionally, Emilia’s has added more flavours of natural gelato to their dessert’s menu including chocolate & hazelnut, creamy mascarpone, Sicilian pistachio and raspberry sorbet. Their gelato is sourced from a small independent supplier near Turin, who makes each batch from scratch using the abundance of delicious ingredients found in the Piedmont region of Italy including luscious, fresh whole fruit wherever possible, blended with pure, crisp Piedmont water, or creamy, fresh milk from their own herd of dairy cows.

Emilia’s are dedicated to making sure their guests and teams are looked after during these unprecedented times and will be taking the following measures to ensure a safe, but also enjoyable social eating & drinking experience:

·      Removing some seating to ensure 1m distancing

·      Carrying out regular and rigorous cleaning before, during and after service

·      Performing a daily health check on all staff which includes contactless infrared temperature checks taken at the start and end of each shift

·      Providing hand sanitisers and recommending that everyone entering the premises washes or sanitises their hands

·      Asking any guests who are displaying any symptoms of COVID-19 not to visit their restaurants
