Set within Canary Wharf’s Lincoln Plaza London hotel — once the site of London’s main import and export trading houses — Food Store Bar, Restaurant and Grocer pays homage to this history by reconnecting city dwellers and hotel guests with the best local and European ingredients. All this and more can be explored as the venue launches its brand-new winter menu and lunchtime set menus, all showcasing ingredient-driven classics created by Executive Chef Rumel Pinnock.

Focusing on top-quality British produce from local suppliers, Rumel has taken a pared-down approach for his new seasonal winter menu. Starters are priced from £5 and feature classics such as baby kale Caesar salad with chopped chicken & soft poached egg, as well as a classic steak tartare. Priced from £10.50, mains include Roast Cornish cod fillet with fingerling potatoes, chorizo & roasted red pepper and spinach & ricotta tortellini. Diners can also enjoy a classic Farmhouse Cheeseboard featuring a selection of British cheeses including: Wigmore, Oxford Blue and Godminster, or opt for a board of cured meats.

The new lunchtime set menu — priced at £18.75 for two courses and £23.75 for three courses — features British classics and European favourites such as the potted Glenarm salmon starter and a chicken Milanese with truffle mayo & lambs’ lettuce main courses. Round off your meal with sticky toffee pudding, chocolate brownie or a scoop or two of ice cream.

And the Food Store experience doesn’t just end with your dessert. After a hearty meal head to the Food Store’s Grocery where you can pick up seasonal, fresh produce from local suppliers and gourmet products including Bermondsey Street Bees Honey and ethically produced teas.

Food Store’s Bar and Restaurant are open Monday to Friday 6.30am to 10.30pm, Saturday and Sunday 7am to 11pm. Grocer is open Monday to Friday 6.30am to 8pm, Saturday and Sunday 7am to 8pm.
