Chelsea restaurant offers floral menus, terrarium masterclass, and gourmet dining experience hosted by Tom Aikens

As swathes of visitors flock to Chelsea to celebrate London in bloom, the team at Tom’s Kitchen Chelsea have created a delicious menu inspired by the world-famous celebration, as well as throwing some unique floral events of their own.

The three-course floral menu at Tom’s Kitchen Chelsea will be available for the duration of RHS Chelsea Flower Show, starting with a choice of Handpicked crab with basil mayonnaise, nasturtium, cucumber and almond cream or Homemade Ricotta with gremolata, radish, baby cucumber and viola. To follow, main courses will include Seared cod fillet, confit fennel, apricots, saffron broth and cucumber flowers or Courgette and pistachio risotto with nasturtium. To finish, a beautiful dessert of Poached cherries with elderflower and lavender panna cotta will provide a fragrant and fruity finale. The Chelsea Flower Show menu will be available 21–25 May, priced at £35pp for three courses, or £55pp with paired wines.

Furthermore, on Saturday 25 May, Tom’s Kitchen Chelsea will also be hosting a unique masterclass event in partnership with London Terrariums. Guests will first learn about the history and science of the miniature gardens, sealed to form their own atmosphere and microclimate, before taking part in a bespoke boiling flask workshop. This will be followed by a delicious lunch in the restaurant accompanied by a glass of wine. Tickets are priced at £85 to include lunch, wine, nibbles and a boiling flask terrarium and care package for each guest to take home with them. Full details and tickets here.

For those looking to indulge in an exclusive gourmet experience during RHS Chelsea Flower Show, on 22 May Tom Aikens himself will be hosting a special lunch in the beautiful private dining room at Tom’s Kitchen Chelsea. For £80pp guests will be treated to a glass of prosecco and floral inspired canapés on arrival, followed by the Chelsea Flower Show Menu with wine pairings and an additional cheese course. Tom will also be on hand to answer any questions and talk guests through each course.
