Learn the art of whisky & cheese pairing at the capital hotel

The Capital Bar, home to one of London’s most enviable whisky collections, has teamed up with whisky expert Michael Kuczynski to offer single malt enthusiasts an exclusive masterclass and fine cheese pairing on Thursday 24th May.

Hosted in the intimate Eaton suite at The Capital Hotel, attendees will be treated to the ultimate whisky experience kicking off with a welcome Mint Julep cocktail. During the masterclass, Michael will take guests on a journey to discover the heritage and flavour profiles of three whiskies, perfectly complemented by a fine cheese selection. The pairings include an Islay single malt Bunnahabbain 18 year old, matched with buttery, Welsh Golden Cernath; the gentle, nutty highland flavours of Tomintoul 16 year old chosen with sweet and fruity Old Winchester cheese; and Lowland Glenkinchie 12 year old, paired with creamy Perl Las organic Welsh blue cheese.
