Sticks’N’Sushi Announces 2025 Results
SticksʹnʹSushi, the Danish-Japanese restaurant group specialising in a unique combination of classic and creative sushi as well as grilled sticks, announces its financial results for the 12-month period ending 31 December 2025.
Highlights:
• Revenue: £104.8 million
• Adjusted EBITDA: £8.2 million
• First restaurant opened in the North of the UK, bringing Sticks’n’Sushi to Scotland
• Extension of breakfast offering at One Hundred Shoreditch hotel for two years following successful first 12 months
2025 represented a breakthrough year for Sticks’n’Sushi with revenue exceeding £100 million for the very first time, representing 6% growth over the previous 12 months. The year was capped off by an all-time record day for the company on New Year’s Eve [as we exceeded £1 million for the first time]. We are delighted to report that, once again, all three markets delivered growth despite the challenging economic conditions across each country.
In the UK, the standout performance came from the B2B and catering arm of the business which finished +21% ahead of the prior year, reinforcing our belief in the significant opportunity that exists through this channel. In both Denmark and Germany, all three channels of dine-in, delivery/take-away and catering were in growth over the prior year.
In December 2025, we opened our doors in George Square, Glasgow, marking our 31st restaurant in the estate. This was a landmark moment for the business as our first step towards establishing a presence in major cities outside of the South East of the UK.

In 2026, Sticks’n’Sushi has continued to deliver on the strategic plan by opening the second Northern restaurant, with the restaurant in Spinningfields, Manchester, taking the estate to 32 restaurants in total along with the three Catering and Delivery Kitchens in the UK. This year we have also announced the opening of our first restaurant in Prague later this year via our first JV Partnership, as well as the next two cities in our UK expansion being Birmingham and Leeds in the coming months. Our B2B/catering business is also going from strength to strength with a groundbreaking partnership in summer 2026 with the ‘Tokyo Nights’ Sumo event in Greenwich a particular highlight of the year so far.
Andreas Karlsson, CEO of SticksʹnʹSushi commented: “2025 was a year of real progress for Sticks’n’Sushi, consolidating our performance in the existing estate and achieving meaningful steps forward in our strategic plan. Crossing the £100 million revenue threshold for the first time is a notable landmark, and the breadth of growth across our markets and channels gives us confidence in the strength of our proposition. The opening in Glasgow marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter as we continue to grow our footprint in the UK and the response in Glasgow and Manchester to our restaurants has been highly encouraging. Success across all geographies and channels, whilst opening new restaurants, is never taken for granted. It is only possible thanks to the passion and commitment of our 1,400 team members across Denmark, Germany and the UK working collaboratively as one to deliver across all fronts.”
