Tastecard and Gourmet Society owner Ello Group has secured a £16.5m revolving credit facility from HSBC to underpin the company’s growth plans and day-to-day operations.

Ello Group provides rewards and loyalty programmes including Coffee Club and Vue Pass, helping customers build engagement and brand affinity across dining, coffee, pizza delivery, cinema and days out.

The Huddersfield-based rewards and loyalty platform provider was advised on the funding deal by law firm Gordons, and is the first time the firm has been instructed to act for the business.

Gordons banking partner Ben Roden, supported by solicitor Gresa Bakolli, acted on behalf of Ello Group.

The facility will support Ello Group as it looks to evolve under the ownership of Dragonpass, the global travel and lifestyle rewards platform which acquired the business at the end of last year.
