South Kensington’s five-star 100 Queen’s Gate Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton, is to launch ‘Cocktails & Cards’ at the hotel’s ESQ Cocktail Bar. Guests are invited to mix a little friendly competition with beautifully crafted cocktails for an elevated games night experience.

Cards & Cocktails pairs expert cocktails with a selection of original party games – complimentary for guests to enjoy – for a playful night out in a sophisticated setting. The games and premium drinks pairing is ideal for those looking to inject some fun and friendly competition into date night or an evening with friends, as well as for any board game enthusiasts looking to try some new games in a stylish setting of the ESQ Cocktail Bar, the serene underground bar offering homemade infused spirits crafted by the resident mixologists.

Guests simply pick a game, order a game-inspired cocktail and get playing. The games line-up includes stylish party games Slip It In, Awkward, Misheard Music, Unfiltered Girls Night, Wonky Doodles and Rhymes with Duck. Each of the six games come with a choice of paired alcoholic or non-alcoholic cocktails. The twelve specially created cocktails include:

Spill the G&Tea

Inspired by Unfiltered Girls Night, a game of bold revelations in which guests spin, vote and reveal. This bright and bubbly cocktail features gin, elderflower, lemon and tonic water. A perfect sip while you spill the tea!

Lyrical Chaos

Inspired by Misheard Music, a fast-paced card game that puts your musical knowledge to the test. This tropical, creamy and delightfully unpredictable sip blends white rum, blue curaçao, pineapple juice, coconut cream

No-Proof Quack Splash

Inspired by Rhymes with Duck, a hilarious rhyming game where quick wit and clever wordplay rule – featuring a cheeky duck twist. A fresh, zesty drink with a honeyed sweetness, and a gingery kick, minus the alcohol. 

Guests can also enjoy some gaming snacks from a menu of ‘Nibbles & Small Bites’, including Corn Skewers with paprika mayo, Mini Sausage Rolls with garlic mayo and Cod Croquettes with papaya sauce.

100 Queen’s Gate is a wonderful contemporary property where history meets modernity. Located on the lower ground floor of the hotel, ESQ offers a relaxed escape from the outside world and provides the perfect atmosphere for guests to unwind and disconnect with a game and a cocktail in hand.
