Michael Caines MBE Invites Guests to Celebrate with him at His Devonshire Home-From-Home

This New Year’s Eve, celebrated chef Michael Caines MBE is opening the doors to his beloved Lympstone Manor for a truly special celebration, Michael’s New Year’s House Party.

For an unforgettable evening, guests are invited to step inside Michael’s “home from home” and celebrate alongside the chef himself. This is not simply a dinner; it’s a rare opportunity to toast the new year with Michael as he personally hosts the festivities, bringing his signature warmth, generosity and culinary brilliance to the occasion.

Guests staying between 30th December 2025 and 2nd January 2026 will enjoy two or three indulgent nights at the manor, beginning with a bottle of the Lympstone Manor Estate Classic Cuvée on arrival and a relaxed à la carte dinner to settle in.

On New Year’s Eve, the manor comes alive for a glamorous black-tie celebration. From 6pm, guests will enjoy Champagne and live music from the soulful Leigh Coleman Duo, setting the scene for an exquisite, locally sourced eight-course tasting menu by Michael Caines, with paired wines curated by Lympstone Manor’s sommeliers. As midnight strikes, guests will raise a glass with Michael beneath a spectacular firework display over the vineyard and the Exe estuary, before dancing late into the night as the live music and celebrations continue.

The first morning of 2026 begins with a guided estuary walk, spotting winter migratory birds, followed by a convivial wine tasting with the sommelier team and another evening of fine dining, the perfect close to a New Year’s escape defined by friendship, flavour, and celebration.

For those local to the area, evening-only tickets are also available from £525 per person. Offering an exceptional black-tie gala dinner and celebration with Michael. Including Champagne aperitifs, a Matching wine flight to accompany the eight-course tasting menu and Champagne at midnight to toast the New Year whilst watching the annual fireworks display. The gala dinner will be on shared tables, a chance to celebrate with others with food, wine and conversation.

Two- or three-night stays for New Year from £1,240 per night based on double occupancy.  Includes breakfast each day, a bottle of Classic Cuvée on arrival, the guided walk on New Year’s day, A la Carte dining on each night of your stay except for New Year’s eve which includes the eight-course tasting menu, matching wine flight, Champagne aperitifs and a Champagne Toast at midnight.

Lympstone Manor is also hosting a spectacular three-night Christmas stay commencing on Christmas Eve with a festive Brass Band performance with traditional carols, mince pies and mulled wine, followed by an eight-course tasting menu by Michael Caines MBE’s. Optional transport is available to Midnight Mass at Exeter Cathedral. Christmas Day starts with a Champagne breakfast followed by a five-course Christmas Tasting Menu served either as lunch or dinner.
