Ancient Shepherds to Host Seasonal Game Dinner this November

Ancient Shepherds, the acclaimed restaurant from Michelin-starred chef Mark Poynton, will host its first-ever Game Dinner on Wednesday 19th November. The dinner will be a one-night-only celebration of Britain’s finest seasonal game.
The six-course menu will highlight the depth and versatility of game meats, with each dish paired with carefully selected ingredients to bring out their rich and distinctive flavours. The evening will begin with Mark’s renowned bread and snacks, followed by the six inventive courses.
Guests can look forward to dishes including Pheasant and Chestnut Terrine with pickled walnut ketchup and toasted sourdough, the Guinea Fowl and Duck Liver Ballotine with Vin Jaune, and the Hare Loin and Leg Ragu with red cabbage, white chocolate, and cardamom. The menu also features Partridge served with Savoy cabbage, truffle and Madeira, before rounding off on a sweet note with two dessert courses. The desserts include an Oat Cake made with Binham Blue cheese and Granny Smith apples, and a Dark Chocolate Tart paired with a refreshing Yogurt Sorbet.
Tickets for the evening are priced at £85 per person, with an optional wine flight available to complement each course for an additional £65. Guests are invited to arrive at 6:30PM with dinner beginning at 7PM.
