BOXCAR X HEYTEA: A PASTRY COLLABORATION THAT BLENDS BAKERY CRAFT WITH NEW-STYLE TEA

Boxcar, the London-based bakery and café group known for its elevated approach to seasonal cooking and artisanal baking, has teamed up with cult global tea brand HEYTEA to launch a limited-edition pastry celebrating flavour, craftsmanship and cultural fusion.
Available from 19th September, the new HEYTEA Jasmine & Blueberry Danish will be served at both Boxcar Bread & Wine (Kendal Street, W2) and Boxcar Baker & Deli (Wyndham Place, W1), priced at £6.50. The pastry draws inspiration from HEYTEA’s signature jasmine green tea, balanced by the tart complexity of blueberry.
Developed exclusively for this collaboration, the Danish showcases Boxcar’s commitment to seasonal British produce and artisanal methods, while paying homage to HEYTEA’s deep-rooted tea traditions. At the heart of the flavour profile is HEYTEA’s Jasmine Green Tea, created using an intricate scenting process involving over 3,000 jasmine blossoms for every 500g of tea. The result is a uniquely floral tea with a honeyed finish that beautifully complements the fruit-forward notes of the pastry.
Founded in China in 2012, HEYTEA is the originator of new-style tea, blending tradition with contemporary creativity. With more than 4,000 stores worldwide, including recent flagship in New York, HEYTEA is known for using real milk, natural teas and bold, original flavour combinations. Their collaboration with Boxcar marks an exciting intersection between two brands driven by quality, innovation, and design.
This limited-edition pastry will be available 19th September – 3rd October, perfect for pairing with a morning coffee or enjoyed as a standout dessert at lunch or dinner at Boxcar Bread & Wine.
