From Tbilisi to Mayfair: Berkeley Square Hospitality Introduces DakaDaka – A Bold Take on Georgian Dining in London

This November, DakaDaka opens its doors on Heddon Street, Mayfair.
DakaDaka is the debut London project from Berkeley Square Hospitality, the new venture led by Giorgi Mindiashvili and Mitz Vora – two creative forces who have spent the last decade shaping celebrated restaurants across Georgia, the UK and Europe.
At its heart, DakaDaka offers a modern interpretation of Georgian culinary tradition – bold, expressive, and rooted in technique. Dishes centre around open-fire grilling, native Georgian ingredients, and seasonal British produce. The drinks list features a focused selection of 100 Georgian natural wines, curated by award-winning wine expert Honey Spencer, alongside Georgian beers and bespoke ChaCha-based cocktails.
The 110-cover space spans two floors and includes a bar, dining room. The space will also host private dining and regional wine-tasting events, including sessions featuring Georgian-made clay Qvevri amphora – each inviting guests to explore the depth and warmth of Georgia’s culinary culture.

Mitz Vora and Giorgi Mindiashvili – DakaDaka
Formerly of Ennismore, Giorgi and Mitz first worked together at the group, where they led the development and openings of Hoxton hotels and London restaurants, including Tandoor Chop House, Egg Break, Breddos Tacos Soho, and Seabird. Their time at Ennismore helped shape a shared vision for culturally rich, design-forward hospitality – now brought to life through DakaDaka.
Designed by Katya Samsonadze, the interiors blend folkloric Georgian textures with a clean, contemporary aesthetic. Elements nod to Georgia’s visual heritage and craftsmanship, brought into a fresh London context.
“DakaDaka is a project we’ve been building toward for years. Georgian food is rich in history and soul, and we’ve long felt there was space in London to showcase it with care and precision.”
– Giorgi Mindiashvili
“There’s a beautiful depth to Georgian cooking – in the techniques, the ingredients, and the stories behind each dish. DakaDaka is a chance to bring something purposeful and soulful to London’s dining scene.”
– Mitz Vora.
