Martin Miller’s Brought the Coolest Bar to Manchester
Martin Miller’s celebrated being awarded the premium pour at all Be At One venues across the UK by treating Mancunians to a pop-up ice bar in the heart of Manchester.
Be At One Manchester dedicated its whole upper floor to become an icy oasis with an exclusive media and consumer event which saw the space transformed into an immersive nod to Iceland, complete with a sofa and bar made entirely out of ICE – crafted by Icebox.
Inspired by Martin Miller’s quest to Iceland to source the “finest gin
money could buy”, the brand brought a slice of Iceland to the heart of the city. Martin Miller’s Gin is blended with Icelandic water, giving it a superior smoothness and silky mouthfeel, so it was the perfect moment to bring the unique journey of the gin to life with this one night only activation. Not only were visitors able to enjoy this immersive pop-up nod to Iceland around them, but their drinks were also served in glasses carved from glass. Visitors to the ice bar were able to freeze the moment with a glacial photo frame or leave their mark on the graffiti wall, built from blocks of ice.
The ‘Land of Ice and Fire’ cocktail was the showstopper of the evening, a serve infused with a berry pearl, along with martini, lemon and lychee. The ‘Glacial Peach’ – mixing Passoa and ras-cran cordial with the premium gin, topped with ginger ale – was also on the menu, as well as the classics including a Negroni and G&T.
