Aldi Launches Stout Flavoured Ballycastle Ahead of St Patrick’s Day

Landing in stores on 6th March for just £7.99 a bottle (70cl), it’s the perfect way to paint the town green without breaking the bank.
Aldi’s Ballycastle Stout Flavour Country Cream boasts a luxuriously smooth, creamy texture with prominent malt notes balanced by the subtle sweetness of Irish cream. Think of that familiar, beloved Irish stout flavour, but with a decadent, creamy twist. It’s a sophisticated sip that’s perfect for after-dinner indulgence or mixing into a celebratory cocktail.
Ballycastle Stout Espresso Martini recipe (makes two):
Ingredients:
- 150ml of Ballycastle Stout Flavour Country Cream
- 100ml of Saint Germont Premium French Vanilla Vodka
- 100ml of boiling water
- 2 heaped teaspoons of Alcafé Gold Roast Freeze Dried Coffee
- Coffee beans to decorate (optional)
- Ice for cocktail shaker
Method:
- Pour the boiling water over the Alcafé Gold Roast Freeze Dried Coffee and allow to cool
- Half fill a cocktail shaker with ice
- Add the coffee, Ballycastle Stout Flavour Country Cream and Saint Gérmont Premium French Vodka
- Shake well
- Strain into two large, chilled martini glasses
- Allow to settle – then top with a few coffee beans, serve and enjoy!
