Slither into Prosperity: Din Tai Fung Celebrates the Year of the Snake with Exclusive Lunar New Year Menu Items

Din Tai Fung is celebrating the Lunar New Year with special menu items honouring the Year of the Snake. Available from 24th January to 9th February, the menu features dishes inspired by Huaiyang and Taiwanese culinary traditions, symbolising renewal, vitality, and prosperity.
Menu highlights include:
- Fish Jiao Zi: Delicate steamed fish dumplings (4pcs £9.50 | 8pcs £18)
- “Lion’s Head” Pork Meatball Soup: Comforting steamed pork meatball soup with Chinese cabbage (£10.50)
- Courgette & Prawn Xiao Long Bao: A light and fresh take on the classic soup dumplings (4pcs £9 | 8pcs £17)
- Prawn & Egg Fried Rice with XO Sauce: Indulgent wok-fried rice with umami XO sauce (£22)
To complement your Lunar New Year Din Tai Fung feast, two exclusive drinks have been created:
- Golden Twist Cocktail: A luxurious twist on the Old Cuban with rum, champagne, and a hint of Laphroaig (£14.50)
- Silk Garden Mocktail: A smooth blend of Everleaf’s Forest aperitif, strawberry, and coconut (£9.50)
Adding a touch of fun, Din Tai Fung will give away 100 free baskets of their award-winning Xiao Long Bao and red pockets to lucky diners who find a hidden golden “Snake Charm” in their dumpling basket. To participate, dinners will need to simply pair any Lunar New Year drink with a Xiao Long Bao order.
