The Davies Terrace summer pop-up was created to showcase the Royal Opera House Gin developed in collaboration with the multi-award award-winning Portobello Road Gin. The outdoor space is located in the heart of the West End and furnished with wooden day beds, tables and comfy cushions; everything you need for an evening spent on the terrace. 

The newly launched Davies Terrace pop-up is open until October, serving drinks from 12-9pm every day. The terrace is the latest alternative space for guests to enjoy the backdrop of an iconic cultural venue and an outdoor oasis whilst enjoying the very best gins and vodkas from Portobello Road in the form of spirit mixers, cocktails, mocktails and low ABV serves.

The brand-new concept was formed after the successful launch of the ROH Portobello Road Gin. A contemporary oasis in the heart of Covent Garden, the pop-up bar is decorated with floral displays from Yan Skates, a floral artist and Chelsea Gold Medal Winner. Yan has created the bespoke floristry in line with the branding of the ROH Gin to bring the colours of Portobello Road to the terrace and bring the exceptional new space to life.

Delicious cocktails served in the pop-up bar will include cucumber melon gin spritz, sweet berry beets mule, dry martini and ROH gin negroni, with prices starting from £8.50.

The ROH gin is infused with botanicals inspired by the same ingredients found in the Covent Garden Market hundreds of years ago. The recipe combines traditional gin botanicals such as juniper, coriander seed, angelica root and liquorice, with the subtle addition of lemon peel, elderflower and apple. Finally, a hint of nutmeg is added as a Portobello Road Gin signature ingredient.

Presented in a stylish Portobello Road Gin bottle with an embossed, gold foil label featuring the distinguishing Royal Opera House crest, the luxurious 70cl bottle is 42% ABV and is best served over ice, with a wedge of lemon. The gin is available to buy instore at the Royal Opera House shop or to buy online.

Positioned prominently on Bow Street, this enchanting space boasts vibrant floral arrangements by Yan Skates, an esteemed floral artist and recipient of the prestigious Chelsea Gold Medal.
