Launching in the UK, luxury patisserie – Donutelier by Roladin – will open the world’s first ‘Donutelier’ concept in central London in early 2023. 

A new store dedicated to the most luxurious doughnuts that London has ever seen will open in late January in the heart of London’s fashion district. Each doughnut produced incorporates the finest ingredients, and is recognisable by Roladin’s unique, expertly hand-crafted and ornate designs.

The new London destination store, ‘Donutelier by Roladin’ – inspired by the intricate craftsmanship of the world’s greatest fashion ateliers – will showcase each step of the intricate doughnut making and designing process. Each doughnut will be handmade, with Londoners visiting the store able to watch as the light and airy cloud dough puffs up into fluffy golden doughnuts, before being skillfully decorated by Donutelier’s team of expert pastry chefs who treat each and every doughnut as a unique piece of fine art.

Along with a collection of doughnuts debuting exclusively in London, visitors will be able to purchase signature doughnuts including: the Pistachio filled with chantilly cream and marbled pistachio, topped with an almond sable, pistachio nibs and dried raspberries; the Dulcey Peanut Caramel with Dulcey fleur de sel ganache, peanuts, caramelised peanuts and caramel chantilly; and the Pink Royal featuring wild berry cream topped with mini strawberry meringues, dried raspberries and a raspberry chantilly cream.

Guests visiting the boutique bakery will step into a doughnut heaven, surrounded by palatial interiors featuring marble countertops and brass mirrored ceilings. Doughnuts will be displayed on elegant brass cake stands lit by extraordinary glass fittings inspired by patissiers’ piping bags. Lining the back wall will be row upon row of doughnut boxes in varying pantones of pink and orange. To the right of the main space, visitors will be able to order from a selection of unique fine coffee blends and in time, order delicious pastries to enjoy in-store or takeaway.

With the recent opening of the Elizabeth Line, visitors to Donutelier by Roladin can expect ‘doughnuts fit for a queen’, with Charing Cross Road and its immediate surroundings becoming the new epicentre of the West End.
