Professor Green and Luke French launch I USED TO RAVE BUT NOW I ROAST – an at home roast kit, in partnership with Finish & Feast

Acclaimed chef Luke French of Sheffield restaurant JÖRO has teamed up with British rapper Professor Green to create I USED TO RAVE BUT NOW I ROAST – the ultimate Sunday Roast meal kit, available nationwide through Finish & Feast.  

Having visited JÖRO in Sheffield before Covid hit, Professor Green struck up an unlikely friendship with Chef-owner Luke over lockdown, exchanging cooking tips via Instagram DM. After months of sharing hacks and co-creating delicious meals, the pair have combined their joint learnings and present I USED TO RAVE BUT NOW I ROAST, in dedication to their favourite meal of the week, a good old roast!  

In partnership with fine dining meal kit specialists, Finish & Feast, French and Green use the highest quality ingredients and straightforward guides to create the perfect Sunday roast, all the trimmings, and dessert, without any of the stress.  

At the centre of this kit is an incredible Rolled and tied dry-aged rib of British beef, and sides including, Beef fat Yorkshire puddings; Beef gravy; Beef fat roasted potatoes; Sprouting broccoli in smoked butter; Sweet carrots with fresh parsley; Truffled cauliflower cheese with beef fat crumb and shredded cabbage with bacon lardons . Rounding off the feast isa rich and delicious Miso Sticky toffee pudding with toffee sauce and no churn vanilla ice cream. Each kit feeds two.

Luke French is the co-owner and head chef of JÖRO, Sheffield’s first ever Michelin bib restaurant which has received rave reviews due to Luke’s daring approach to his menus. Stephen Manderson, better known as his stage name, Professor Green, is a multi-platinum artist and TV personality from London. The kit takes its name from his Instagram page ‘@iusedtoravebutnowi’ which has gained a major foodie following thanks to his documentation of his culinary exploits both at home in the kitchen, and in his favourite restaurants around the country.
