A Sicilian take on Pancake Day at Norma
Head to the ever-chic Norma in Fitzrovia for a Sicilian inspired Shrove Tuesday. Culinary Director, Ben Tish has created a limited-edition Sicilian dish called Sfinci di carnevale: small pieces of leaved dough, fluffy as a pillow, deep fried and enriched. These little spheres of heaven will be served with a tart Limoncello curd. Why not accompany the dish with a cheeky shot of Limoncello?

Crêpes Suzette trolley at The Game Bird, The Stafford
The Game Bird at The Stafford London will be wheeling out a bespoke crêpes suzette trolley, offering guests the opportunity to indulge in this classic French dessert, flambéed tableside for some extra theatre. The Game Bird is renowned for offering classic dishes, executed with great style, and served in a relaxed yet elegant setting. The crêpes suzette dessert will be priced at £15pp and is sure to bring some excitement to the table this Shrove Tuesday.
Mille Crêpe special at Social Eating House
Celebrate Pancake Day in style at Jason Atherton’s Michelin-starred Social Eating House located in the heart of Soho. Chef Patron, Paul Hood has designed his version of a Mille Crêpe featuring layers of fluffy pancakes with bergamot, citrus and early grey cream and drizzled with vanilla Chantilly cream. Available on Tuesday 25th February only, the special dish will be priced at £16 to share and is only available to buy alongside a main course.
Pancakes and perfect views at Blueprint Café
For a pre-emptive pancake day celebration, Blueprint Café has launched its inaugural Sunday brunch menu that includes fluffy American-style pancakes served with either lashings of maple syrup and crispy bacon or, for those who prefer their pancakes a little sweeter, blueberry compote and crème fraiche. Head to the Shad Thames restaurant from 11am on Sunday 23rd February for perfect pancakes served with unbeatable views of Tower Bridge.
Pancake Day cocktail at Sanderson’s Long Bar
Long Bar at Sanderson has created a special Shrove Tuesday inspired cocktail inspired by typical pancake flavours with a hint of eggnog. The Fitzrovia’s Advocaat (£13) is an indulgent mixture of Remy Martins VSOP, Licor 43, cream and egg and finished with notes of gingerbread and cinnamon. Guests can enjoy the cocktail from the opulent environs of Long Bar exclusively on 25th February.
Pancakes and bowling at All Star Lanes
All Star Lanes is celebrating this pancake day by offering a FREE stack of pancakes when you book the Drink, Dine, Bowl package, which includes a game of bowling, two courses of delicious all-American grub and a cocktail from the set menu. Expect the plump, fluffy pancakes topped with whipped cream, fresh berries and a drizzle of maple syrup.
