The globally award-winning Cotswolds Distillery is delighted to report that its recent fundraising has already raised £1 million. 

In early December 2019 they launched a new crowdfunding campaign which is run through its Angel’s Share 2 fundraising platform. This is still open to investors until the 13^th January 2020.  The campaign has already received huge interest from investors and the funds raised from this latest investment drive will enable the company to maximise its whisky production and continue its brand building programme. 

Located in Stourton, Shipston-on-Stour, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, provenance is key for the Cotswolds Distillery, who prides itself on creating critically-acclaimed spirits made from the highest-quality local ingredients.  

As leaders in the English whisky arena, the Cotswolds Distillery is keen to continue expanding its whisky portfolio with new releases, following in the footsteps of its highly successful Founder’s Choice, Peated and Lord Mayors Reserves expressions.

In 2018, the Cotswolds Distillery successfully raised £3 million of equity. The funds raised were invested in building the Cotswolds Distillery business, brand and senior management team via a number of new high-profile industry hires, whilst contributing to the Visitor Centre with tasting rooms, exhibition space and café, which was completed in April 2019.
