Clegg food projects celebrates gold at health and safety awards
NATIONAL construction firm Clegg Food Projects is celebrating after receiving the prestigious Gold Medal in the 2019 RoSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) Health and Safety Awards.
Held last week (6 June) in Birmingham, the designer, constructor and engineer of food manufacturing facilities was awarded a gold medal in recognition of its practices and achievements in helping staff get home safely at the end of the working day.
The gold medal accolade is only awarded to companies that have received more than five consecutive gold awards from the charity.
John Moxon, business development director, said: “We are delighted to be awarded the RoSPA Health and Safety gold medal, particularly as it also marks our eighth consecutive gold award. It is a fantastic achievement that displays our continued commitment to maintaining exceptionally high standards, especially where the safety of our staff is concerned.”
RoSPA is a charity that promotes the prevention of accidents in the UK, Europe and worldwide. The RoSPA Health and Safety Awards receives entries from organisations all around the world and is the longest-running industry award scheme in the UK.
