Corinthia London – Destination Dining in the Heart of London

At the heart of Corinthia London’s five-star hotel is a collection of acclaimed restaurants and bar spaces, making the landmark hotel on the corner of Whitehall Place a destination for dining and drinking. From relaxed all-day menus to named chef restaurants, Afternoon Tea and late-night cocktails, its culinary collection brings together celebrated names in British and Italian food and drink.

From Afternoon Tea, served beneath the sparkling glow of a Baccarat-crystal chandelier at the Crystal Moon Lounge, and the flavours of Southern Italy at Francesco Mazzei’s Mezzorgiorno, to Tom Kerridge’s celebrated British cooking at Kerridge’s and Georgie’s Bar, Corinthia London offers a wealth of dining options under one roof. The Garden brings seasonal, British-inspired dining to the hotel’s internal, open-air courtyard, while The Northall Bar moves effortlessly from breakfast through to evening drinks and classic dishes. As night falls, Velvet by Salvatore Calabrese comes to life, bringing a sense of glamour and theatre, with story-led cocktails alongside signatures from the renowned drinks expert.

Kerridge’s and Georgie’s Bar

This September, Tom Kerridge has unveiled an exciting new chapter at the hotel, with the introduction of Georgie’s Bar, alongside a thoughtfully redesigned restaurant. Reopening in a more intimate setting, the restaurant will sit separately from the new bar, offering guests a fresh way to experience Tom Kerridge’s warm hospitality and comforting dishes at Corinthia London. At the helm of the kitchen is Head Chef Tom Childs, who has led in championing this ethos at Corinthia London since opening in 2018.

At Georgie’s, a dedicated bar menu sits alongside cocktails, wines, beers and ales. At the centre  is Georgie’s Martini Club, featuring a selection of Martinis: Dry, Wet and Dirty. Food at Georgie’s Bar follows the same straightforward approach, with familiar dishes designed as the ultimate drinks pairing. Snacks include Pork scratchings, Beef jerky and Frickles, and larger plates such as the Cheeseburger with BBQ brisket, Fish and Chips, and Haddock fritters.

Mezzogiorno by Francesco Mazzei

Inspired by the regions of Calabria, Puglia and Sicily, Mezzogiorno is the Italian restaurant from acclaimed chef Francesco Mazzei, who is celebrated for introducing ‘nduja to the UK. Showcasing seasonal produce and nostalgic flavours, the restaurant marries rustic tradition with modern elegance, reflecting Francesco’s childhood and his signature style of ‘mamma’s cooking with a chef’s hands’.

Guests can sit kitchen-side and watch as his team makes pasta from scratch like Carbonara to Fettuccine al funghi e tartufo, alongside seafood dishes such as Guernsey pink bream and Steamed bass, served with the best of the season’s vegetables. To finish, indulge in Tiramisu served tableside and other Italian signatures, from a Neapolitan babà to a Summer panettone and a selection of Gelato’s

Crystal Moon Lounge

Afternoon Tea at Corinthia London is a sumptuous affair, served in the decadent surroundings of the Crystal Moon Lounge. Beneath the spectacular Baccarat-crystal chandelier, a silver trolley arrives laden with an enticing selection of sweet and savoury delicacies.

The experience begins with finger sandwiches and freshly baked scones, accompanied by a selection of sparkling wines and Champagnes. An extensive tea menu completes the ritual, with seasonal infusions alongside classic Black, Green and Oolong blends.

Inspired by the flavours of the season, the top tier is reserved for an exquisite collection of patisserie such as: Apricot Bakewell Tart, Elderflower Cake, Kentish Raspberry Cheesecake, Dark Chocolate and Salted Caramel Choux, and a delicate Highgrove Honey Puff Pastry.

The Garden

Positioned within the hotel’s courtyard, The Garden is Corinthia London’s plush, al-fresco dining spot, offering a light, British-inspired menu designed for relaxed, languid breakfasts, lunches and dinners.

Akin to its surroundings, the menu evolves with the seasons; in its summer iteration, this is embodied in small plates such as Heritage tomatoes with crispy walnuts, sugar snaps and Yellison goat’s cheese, alongside heartier favourites like Grilled Hereford Rib Eye with Marmite Butter. For convivial dining, generous sharing dishes take centre stage, not least The Garden Seafood Platter, laden with half a native Lobster, 12 Maldon oysters, Dressed crab, Yellowfin tuna tartare and King prawns.

Velvet by Salvatore Calabrese

In partnership with award-winning drinks expert Salvatore Calabrese, otherwise known as ‘The Maestro’, Velvet is a sultry cocktail bar tucked away behind a draped red velvet curtain on the ground floor of the hotel. Alongside Donovan Bar at Brown’s Hotel, the intimate space is one of Calabrese’s only bars in the city, bringing together the showmanship, hospitality and cocktail craft that have defined his celebrated career.

Its drinks list spans timeless classics and contemporary creations, including Calabrese’s career-defining Breakfast Martini and Spicy Fifty, as well as rotating thematic menus. The latest, Echoes of Memory, explores taste and recollection through story-led cocktails.

Velvet also has a strong musical identity, with live jazz shows adding to its late-night, old-school glamour. The performances complement the bar’s low-lit, seductive atmosphere, making it as much a destination for an evening of cocktails and live music as a showcase for Calabrese’s drinks.

The Northall Bar

At The Northall Bar, elegant surroundings are paired with thoughtfully crafted food and drink, served from morning to night. From signature dishes and expertly mixed cocktails to a curated wine list, premium spirits and refreshing soft drinks, every detail is designed for relaxed, refined dining.

Mornings include cooked favourites like the Full English, Eggs Royale, Benedict and Florentine, andGranola,. During the day, guests can enjoy light dishes, including Fritto Misto with mint yoghurt and a selection of Caesar salads, along with favourites including Club sandwiches, Beef burgers and Fish and Chips.
