The award-winning London restaurant and charity is bringing its soulful mix of vegetarian and vegan dining, Bhakti-inspired wellbeing, and mantra music to Birmingham

This November, OMNOM, the celebrated vegetarian and vegan restaurant and wellness charity from Islington, London, opens a second location in Birmingham — a city known for its cultural vibrancy, creativity, and heart.

At twice the size of the Islington flagship, OMNOM Birmingham will bring together everything the brand has become known for: uplifting Indian food, soulful mantra music nights, community wellbeing events, and a deep commitment to giving back.

As a registered charity, OMNOM operates on a simple but powerful principle: for every meal served, a child in need is fed in a poorer part of the world.*

The new Birmingham location features OMspace, a dedicated studio and event venue designed to host yoga, meditation, talks, workshops, and private events — creating a sanctuary for mind, body, and soul.

In London, OMNOM has already become a go-to venue for cultural and creative events, hosting celebrity book launches, live podcast recordings, panel discussions, and sell-out comedy nights — all within a warm, welcoming, and spiritually inspired setting. The Birmingham space will continue this tradition, with even more room to grow its cultural calendar.

The restaurant’s vibrant, flavour-rich menu is a celebration of India’s culinary roots, created in collaboration with Namaste Village, an Indian vegetarian restaurant group renowned for its cultural authenticity and joyful dishes, with six sites currently operating across the UK including the recently opened Namaste Village Oxford.

OMNOM Birmingham will feature a stunning 150-cover restaurant, making it one of the UK’s largest meat-free Indian dining destinations. The expansive open-plan space will include a lively dining area, a dedicated bar, and a lush conservatory and private dining space, in total accommodating up to 200 guests — ideal for private celebrations, special events, and interactive cookery workshops that invite guests to explore the art of plant-based Indian cuisine.

A distinctive feature of the venue will be a traditional low-seating area adjacent to the bar, crafted from hand-carved timber and plush cushions handmade in India. This inviting corner will offer guests an intimate setting to enjoy high chai or a peaceful meal before or after a wellness class, embodying OmNom’s ethos of mindful indulgence and cultural authenticity.

Behind OMNOM sits OmLife, the spiritual and community heartbeat of the project — hosting Soulful Sundays, retreats, and gatherings rooted in the ancient tradition of Bhakti Yoga, the yoga of devotion and service. OmLife is a community of heartfelt, expert experience-makers dedicated to crafting authentic spiritual journeys that inspire deep, lasting wellness and self-discovery.

OMNOM founder Yuvi Rana says; OMNOM began in Islington as an idea, to create a restaurant that feeds more than the body. We wanted to bring the timeless wisdom of Bhakti Yoga, the yoga of love and devotion, into a modern, accessible setting. To show that spirituality isn’t abstract, it’s something you can taste, feel, and live every day. Our new Birmingham home — at twice the size of our London flagship — will allow us to expand that vision. With our new OMspace for wellbeing events and yoga, a restaurant dedicated to compassionate cuisine, and a continued commitment to feeding children in need across the world, OMNOM Birmingham will be a celebration of amazing food, wellbeing events and community. Birmingham is a city full of life, heart, and creative spirit. We’re honoured to plant roots here and to invite everyone, whether you’re curious, spiritual, or just hungry to be part of this journey of food, love, and purpose.”

Namaste Village founder Vijay Jetani says, ”OMNOM and Namaste Village share deeply aligned values, those of kindness, compassion, and seva, the spirit of service to humanity. As a charitable organisation dedicated to mindfulness and wellbeing, OMNOM embodies these ideals in every aspect of its work. Our collaboration through Namaste @ OMNOM has been a true reflection of these shared principles, blending conscious cuisine with mindful living. Given these driving values and intentions, OMNOM’s growth and success was only a matter of time. We are genuinely proud to be part of this journey and look forward to continuing to work alongside them, bringing their inspiring message of wellness, community, and plant-based living to Birmingham.”

With space for dining, reflection, music, movement, and conversation, OMNOM Birmingham promises to be a beacon for the city’s conscious and creative community — a place to eat beautifully, live mindfully, and serve joyfully.
