4 in 5 UK diners say chef-designed ingredients boost trust in quality of restaurant food, as Premier Foods launches new Bisto ‘Professional’ Bouillon range
Premier Foods has launched a new chef‑developed Bisto Professional Bouillon range into UK foodservice. This coincides with new research from Premier Foods*, revealing that 83% of UK diners would have more trust in the quality of restaurant food when made using high-quality ingredients, designed by chefs.
When asked what defines a high‑quality meal when dining out, 78% of consumers ranked ‘quality of cooking’ as the most important factor ahead of ‘the use of real ingredients’ (68%) and ‘superior flavour’ (47%). With recipes designed by chefs for chefs, the new Bisto Professional Bouillon range – available in both paste and powder formats – delivers a consistent, superior base of flavour service after service.
As well as offering a vegetable (vegan) flavour variant, the range comprises chicken and beef formulations – both of which use real meat to add depth. Highly versatile in application, both formats can be used as a stock base, seasoning, or flavour enhancer across sauces, reductions, gravies, soups, marinades, dressings and rubs, enabling chefs to maximise usage across menus.

The entire range is also free from declarable allergens and gluten, allowing chefs to confidently cater to the 74% of consumers who say allergen safety is important when dining out, and the 82% who expect allergen‑free options to be available as standard.
The paste has been reformulated to provide a richer, more premium mouthfeel, while achieving a strong yield with just 25g required per litre of water. The powder is an entirely new offering from Premier Foods, providing exceptional value & strong yield – with just 20g required per litre of water.
