The Alchemist to open its first venue south of the River Thames at Embassy Gardens
The 5,200 ft2 space will feature floor to ceiling windows, a 94-cover restaurant for all-day dining and a 66-cover bar setting the stage for The Alchemist’s famed theatrical cocktails
This spring, creative cocktail bar and restaurant concept, The Alchemist, will be opening its doors at the brand-new Embassy Gardens development on the 24th March.
Off the back of a hugely successful launch over in Canary Wharf at the end of 2019, which saw the group sell over 5,000 cocktails in its first five days. Embassy Gardens will be The Alchemist’s fifth venue in London, with existing sites in Old Street, Bevis Marks and St Martin’s Lane.
The new 5,200 ft venue sits in the heart of Embassy Gardens and will offer a stunning 94-cover restaurant for all-day dining, 66-cover bar and 24-cover outdoor terrace. The Alchemist Embassy Gardens has the groups classic sleek design, with crisp geometric lines a striking bronzed bar and amber pendant lighting.
Embassy Gardens is one of the most highly profiled regeneration projects and is found in Nine Elms, a fast-transforming area of London that sits between Vauxhall and Battersea. The Embassy Gardens development was a master plan constructed by Sir Terry Ferrell, one the UK’s leading architecture planners and is seen as the centrepiece to making Nine Elms London’s best new district.
Alongside The Alchemist, Embassy Gardens is also home to the private Eg:le club with its own library and gym, the world-famous Sky Pool which spans two buildings, as well as a spa, cinema and business facilities.
Simon Potts, Managing Director of The Alchemist says, “Embassy Gardens was the perfect space to bring our famous cocktails south of the River Thames. It’s extremely exciting to be right in the hub of this highly anticipated and state-of-the-art development and we can’t wait to open our doors in March.”
