Fentimans brightens up Blue Monday
To celebrate the launch of their new reduced calorie ‘Light’ range of soft drinks, botanical drink maker Fentimans will be creating the perfect escape for Londoners to recharge their happiness with the ‘Fentimans Light Lunch’ on what is claimed to be the gloomiest day of the year, Blue Monday.
The third Monday of January has been awarded the title of ‘Blue Monday’ due to cold dark nights, looming credit card bills and post-Christmas melancholy. On Monday 20th January, Fentimans will breath uplifting sunlight into the stunning botanical interiors of Bourne & Hollingsworth’s Garden Room with a transformative display of serotonin boosting lighting and complimentary drinks from their new light range.
Serotonin boosting lights are specially designed to simulate the sunlight of a bright summers day, promoting happiness and personal wellbeing at this particularly dreary time of year. The perfect remedy for January workloads, gloomy skies or low motivation levels as the ‘back to work blues’ sets in.
Guests opting for the ‘Fentimans Light Lunch’ will receive a complimentary bottle from the Fentimans ‘Light’ range and will be seated within a specially designated area of the restaurant filled with serotonin boosting lights, creating the perfect atmosphere to lift anybody’s mood this Blue Monday.
The new Fentimans ‘light’ range includes a reduced calorie version of its iconic Rose Lemonade, as well as Gently Sparkling Elderflower and Sparkling Raspberry. The drinks have been created by adopting the same botanical brewing method Fentimans have been using for over 100 years, to ensure they embody the same great taste Fentimans are famous for, but now with fewer calories.
