Kingstone Press range secures world renowned stamp of approval

Kingstone Press, one of the top ten biggest on-trade ciders, has collected two medals at the World Cider Awards.

The flagship Classic Apple and Wild Berry ciders claimed a silver and bronze award in the sparkling and flavoured cider categories respectively.

Classic Apple delighted the judges with its “fresh ripe flavours on the palate” and the “well balanced and good finish”. While the Wild Berry was praised for its “balanced acidity and a buttery, smooth finish”.

Kingstone Press’ range has been a staple for many on-trade establishments for several years and over the last 12 months the brand has sustained impressive growth ahead of the UK cider category.

Speaking about the awards, Calli O’Brien, brand controller for Kingstone Press, said:

“It’s great to see Kingstone Press continue to be recognised by one of the most prestigious cider competitions.

“Kingstone Press is a consistently brilliant cider. It’s an embodiment of refreshment and flavour – and one that drinkers know will hit the spot every time when they see it in their local pub or favourite bar.

“Both the Classic Apple and Wild Berry continue to excel the very competitive cider category.”

Kingstone Press is crafted with a blend of apples from orchards across Worcestershire and Herefordshire. These are pressed at a cider mill on the banks of the River Severn.

The sustainability and variety of apples in Kingstone Press is crucial to deliver great tasting ciders. The cider maker works with over twenty different farmers, each having twenty-five-year contracts to secure the supply of fruit for a generation.

The World Cider Awards is the recognition of the very best across several styles. They promote the world’s best ciders to consumers and retailers across the globe.
